The return for the Sixers seems to be underwhelming. Out of the incoming players, maybe Covington helps them. Losing Tucker is a pretty big blow, too. Anyways, it does seem like Morey blinked. But who knows, maybe he's got a follow-up trade in the works.
Picks are not bad, but we know they ain't going nowhere with them. Basically 2 FRPs and swaps......with SRP. Sixers waived Danny Green, I wonder if the Clippers pick up Danny Green.
The original, the official thread. All the Rockets legends traded for each other. James Harden PJ Tucker Filip Petrusev Marcus Morris Nicolas Batum Robert Covington KJ Martin 2028 unprotected first two second round picks pick swap future first from unknown team (Sixers waive Danny Green)
Picks are fine, but the Sixers probably need quality players to help now if they're serious about keeping Embiid happy and Maxey from being run into the ground. I'm expecting Morey to do something before the trade deadline.
Maxey is already a 28 and 7 type of player, what do you guys expect..... It is silly to expect a championship ....for one Embiid is not a great Playoff player either way.
The clippers will be regular season kings until Kawhi and George inevitably get hurt. The clippers had already sold off most of their future for one last shot. They are going to be in for a long re-build in the next couple of years
Yeah. They are just too old to get over the hump, but they will do really well for a while. Hate him or not, Harden is still a good offensive player, albeit, a fading one.
Just a few years ago these guys were all competing for MVP. In a few years they'll all be competing for who's first in line for the early bird special.
Decent haul for philly. Don't like the marcus morris deal... i would have had him going to a 3rd team and given up a pick to do it. Batum can be useful in trade for salary matching. Martin and Covington can be solid role players.
