Somebody teach Slowik to throw on 1st down. We used to have a baseball coach who told his players to ALWAYS not swing on the first pitch. No matter what. When word got out around the league, every pitcher knew to throw a strike on the first pitch. Start our players in the hole. Coach's goal was to tire out the other team's pitchers over the course of the game. But you can't just give an edge to the other team. Running almost ALWAYS on 1st down does just that.

**** just seems so rigged. CJ Stroud has been LIGHT YEARS better than Young and then they play each other and Young wins. Play calling by the Texans was TERRIBLE. Having 3 RB committee means you have no runningback at all.
If the playcalling was better this team would be 5-2. Slowik has been embarrassing with his starters. It's like he's running the playbook like he is back in SF. When he had all the backups on the oline he got creative because he felt he had to. Stroud is being held back now by Slowik. Sucks to see. Can't stand conservative. Had enough of unimaginative BS under BOB. Slowik needs to be lit the **** up this week.
