    ...season 24 (ish) on ClutchFans for me.

    Right now, I'd be ecstatic with a 40 win season. Am I a pessimist or an optimist?

    Optimistic but I'd take that perspective any day over doom and gloom, as long as you're not doom and gloom if (likely) we don't get 40 wins

    Ecstatic is an understatement. I personally don't think we'll win that many games. I'm no doomer, but I don't see that many teams regressing to steal wins from. Congrats on season 24 though! Must have been a completely different place back then (for the better is my guess!).

    I would be ecstatic too with a 40-win season. Given we won 17, 20 and 22 games in the last 3 years, I'd be happy with something in the 30s. I'm more interested in the growth of our young players and just the overall culture upgrade. Enjoy the journey

    I was a little late to the party. We were poor, so no computer at home. I did take an AOL disc to the school library once though. I got a phone back in 07 and thought I was doing something crazy when I hit the internet app lol. Going to college with 24/7 wifi was wild. I never would have thought to find a Rockets forum back then.

    I’d be thrilled with a 40 win season. Look at the buzz OKC got from winning 40 last season.

    Look I would not be shocked if this team does better than a 40 win season (42 or 43 wins). They have a shitload of talent on this team that is waiting to burst. I will not be shocked in the least bit if they make the playoffs.

    The astros got far with just 2 franchise players Tube and Jordan.

    We have 10 franchise players, use your imagination.

    35w seems doable based off of preseason. That being said we are probably fcked if one of Brooks and FVV gets injured.

    I'd be stoked with 32 wins. Adding 10 wins is substantial progress. Anything beyond that is icing on the cake.

    I'm also hoping to see us improve to a middle of the pack defensive team in year 1. That would be amazing. And finally I'm hoping at least one of the young guys has a big breakout year.

    If we win 41 games and go five hundred or better they need to put up a statute of the Udoker and the mayor needs to present him the key you the City.
