I'm back for one last comment after I noticed that Dusty let Maldonado hit again. There's no reasonable explanation for that except that Dusty knows he is leaving after this game and is having his own FU Lovie Smith style moment. There is no other possibility. He just gave the finger to the organization on his way out the door. I understand playing Maldonado situationally, but Dusty has made it personal. That's really unfortunate.
I bet Luhnow would be fine with it. He’s used to cutthroat business and knew that would be part of the risk of running the Astros like he did without making external friendships.
