    My guess is Dusty's thinking was he doesn't trust another reliever to come in in case Maton let a few on. With Hunter or JP, you want them starting a fresh inning rather than with runners on base.

    Not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just guessing that was his thinking.

    Playoff Javier is apparently road-only.

    I agree I don't mind Brown here but you really should try to steal another inning with Maton considering Javier didn't last a inning.
