Really just comes down to playoff Javier showing up at home for a change. Odds favor us greatly even with struggles if he's going 6 or 7 shutout.
Just had to win one game and we would be in the WS. I cannot believe they played so poorly and so unfocused and pissed it away. I originally thought we would win game 6 or 7. Now, after what I saw today, I think we are choking just like 2019. I think our hitters are mentally beat at home. Not gonna be surprised if we are shutout tomorrow. Of course I would love to eat crow, but my gut tells me our bats are done.
It is pretty shitty that singleton at bats are, hey we need you to hit a giant dong in the postseason 8th inning. Dude has a good eye and could probably be a decent hitter with consistent playing time.
Bochy is a 150 IQ genius for intentionally throwing the division on the last day of the series just for this moment.
Looking ahead to Game 7: Neris and Abreu have both been overly exposed this series. They've pitched every game except 1 or 2, plus they've already surrendered runs. Don't expect scoreless innings if they pitch. France and Brown might both be needed. Best hope is Javier maintains his playoff form and Scherzer doesn't play well. France and Brown on deck. Not confident in the offense but more confident with them hitting Scherzer over Eovaldi.

I have plenty of criticism of Dusty regarding his lineups, substitutions (or lack of), and how he manages the bullpen. With all of that said, this game is on the team being unable to hit. Probably the worst at bat was Dubon swinging at balls when Leclerc clearly was having command issues. At the end of the day, not getting one run with the bases loaded, one out, and Leclerc clearly struggling was inexcusable. That was the ballgame right there. I’m honestly happy Pressley didn’t throw tonight. The game was still close, but you can’t burn your closer with Game 7 being tomorrow. He’s going to be needed if it’s a close one tomorrow, especially with Abreu likely out due to his suspension.
I know the moment those guys step into the locker room tomorrow I have the last time we saw this guy in game 7 on replay. Just replaying it all over. Don't let this guy get in the way of another championship. Apparently the Astros have to get mad to wake up sometimes so give them this reminder. Knock him out in the first inning and make the rest of the game a coronation.
Cool to be positive but based on what we are seeing, the hitters will press and will struggle to score. I’m honestly thinking we struggle to get 3 hits. Lots of K’s and pop ups. Scherzer set up for the hero story. It’s probably gonna be a puke fest.
