So get this. Not making it up. Was so pissed after the Garcia HR I took my vodka to the basement and played Madden 24. Half drunk, well more than half when I came back upstairs I asked my wife if we lost. She said yes. I was so dejected I didn't check the board since the game. I listen to Spotify in my truck. So no sports. I had turned the push notes off on my phone. Went to check first pitch time was for tonight and saw the ASTROS FREAKIN WON. I went the last 2 days in a funk thinking we lost. I asked my wife why she said we lost. She said she tjough I asked if we won. I suspect she switched it to Brittish Baking Show as soon as i went to the basement. That's crazy
I don't live in the Houston area anymore; I will be watching on Network TV, and I am really ticked off about the suspension. I can't believe that EVERY ref thought it was intentional. Thought crimes!? The pitching motion is fast. The pitch is changed by the slightest change in grip. That is what creates the different pitches. Frequently, an intended pitch isn't executed. Release can be at the wrong time. He said he was intending to go inside. The margin for error on pitches is small. You can't always make the ball go where you want it to. And sometimes it goes where you didn't intend it to go. Anyone who has thrown a ball knows this. Yes, the greats have incredible control, but few do. Even Verlander had balls get away from him last time he pitched. He said it himself.
I’ll be watching from the tv I’ll be putting in the bed of my truck at the soccer fields. Have a game at 8 so we’ll be watching there with beers in the parking lot as soon as our game is over.
worried about this game because the umps have been screwing the astros all series. it feels like the scumbag behavior will be ratcheted up for game 6.
Astros still the better team, but wish they wouldn't need to depend so much on the Top 6 guys tonight.
I'm in Washington and no TV subs so I will be listening to Fird and Sparks while following on gamecast.
You know the umps will want to take this to game 7. We gotta take it up a notch to close this out tonight, fellas.
