In all my excitement tonight, I forgot about that 8th inning play by Abreu to get the first out at second after falling down. What a crazy play.

This was just a magical win. Postseason baseball’s highs and lows are the best thing in sports. It doesn’t get any better.

Hakeem didn't have any current all star as a teammate during his rings. Altuve was fortunate to have Death Stars... and well... let's pretend Bud Norris wasn't his ace.

Even if there is a suspension for either side... you can appeal, and you play until appeal is heard.

Pedro Martinez just said, injuries aside, that Altuve will end up as the greatest second baseman of all time.

We wouldn't have necessarily called for these moves, but it's awesome that guys like Kessinger and Singleton played huge parts in securing the victory. And we can all completely forget about the huge 0-fer Diaz was mired in.

The Dodgers star acquisition for that Yordan guy. Josh Fields. Who we should totally invite to throw a first pitch when we play in 2024.

J.R from the Sports Brief Show: " Altuve will end up being the greatest post season performer in history. It's not normal. If you don't have respect for ALtuve there is something wrong with you."

I like that guy. He's from Atlanta.

Well be undoubtedly spells it "roads".

So the idiot who said he's gone 46 years and have never experienced getting this close, was he in a coma in 2010-2011?

I saw up to when we were down 4-2, and had a sinking feeling... what happened afterwards? How did we win??

So the Rangers never quite having their official closer this season is ultimately biting them in the backside.

First Smith (smoke and mirrors), then they tried Chapman (still traumatized by the 2019 Altuve HR) and desperately at the end of the season gave LeClerc a shot. The moment was too big for him. For Rangers fans it must feel like 2011 all over again.

To be fair, baseball has more players on its rosters, plus more years of existence.

Top 10 in NBA history is more equivalent to Top 40 in baseball.

Hakeem had no flaws in his game though, and was a beast on both offensively and defensively. He also went to another level in the playoffs.

Altuve has baserunning issues and his defense is average, although he plays a premium position.

Framber for 3, France for 3?

    Why not.
