Had to catch the last 3 innings at my sons basketball practice. I was streaming it and went crazy and screamed during Altuves homerun with my headphones in and everyone freaked the hell out until I told them what happened. Not gonna lie, when Carter kept going back and we could tell it was not a no doubter, I was scared as hell he was going to rob it like Taveras. The sigh of relief when after he landed he didn't have it. On the phone it was hard to see but almost though he was going to deke us and show the ball.
Well it wasn't the after home theatrics but they definitely didn't help his closer having to sit for 20 mins.
Me and my sons just screamed and ran all Over the house going bezerk - my wife was just getting home thought something was wrong inside.
Who needs to drink or do drugs to enjoy watching this team. I've been on a 2 HR high from pure excitement and adrenaline and am still on cloud 9. WOW! I still can't believe how good I feel after our win.

Altuve in the 5th inning bunts with runners on first and third with 2 outs. Little did we all know, he was waiting for the 9th inning.

To put this into proper context, Derek Jeter has only 7 more RBIs (61) but has a whopping 268 more at bats. Altuve projects to having 87 RBIs in the same number of at bats as Jeter, and that would be the most ever in playoff history (Bernie Williams 80). Jose Altuve will end up as the GOAT in MLB playoff history when all is said and done.
We've been asking Dusty all season to show emotion, and he finally did in a huge moment. You have to think his outburst helped fuel some of that fire.
i didn't hate it at the time. it was just unfortunate where the ball had a lot of back spin and it came back to the catcher. altuve is more successful on his bunts more often then not.
