I do not have a problem with your saying. But KPJ just happened, and he left a hole with his shooting, it made sense. Last year 8 teams had a record over 40 Wins in the WC ..... 3 Teams had a record above 30+ Wins.
Not just insurance - more like Udoka job insurance. The veteran guys are going to play ahead of rookies and young players, because all coaches will do this to win games, and a faction of the BBS is going to be extremely perplexed and upset by it. Fortunately there are old heads like me around to scoff at them.
Fred Van Vleet is the only guy that can guarantee winning a few more games for you. And he has not been a crunch time player for some time. The other guys are just a dime in a dozen..... Dillon can get hot in a few games to be fair but you do not want to rely on his hero ball. I have watched Bullock with the Clippers and the Lakers, dude is just nothing special....hit a few shots, was it. He was quickly replaced by Austin Reeves, Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent who should be a couple notches up.
Oh, this is great. I was worried there would be too many minutes available to develop Tari and Whitmore. Wouldn't want them to get good too quickly. Thankfully, there are even fewer minutes to split now.
Not sure your point. I think the Rockets are going to be a 30+ win team. Not having KPJ hurts the chances of this. I think the Rockets are hoping to be in the upper 30s this season. Getting someone like Bullock should help them avoid winning less than 30 considering they've added VanVleet and Brooks. FYI: I'm not too concerned with wins this year except from improvements/play of the 6-pack of young guys, but I think the Rockets are much more in the mode of gotta get ready/look ready for a trade.
There is no point, you replied to me, I just said it was insurance and I stand by it, I do not think he will be much of a game changer. You can disagree, that is alright. Not everything has to be a point when you sign a 10-11th man on your roster.
I like Whitmore but his jump shot is way too streaky, with Amen you absolutely need another shooter, and Bullock is a great shooter.
Getting Reggie Bullock for the Vet Min is a huge score for the Rockets! Very surprised he did not sign with a contender. Playing time, and Udoka being a good player recruiter clearly were big factors here.
I can't take this dude serious with his hair like that... Should have paid someone else, this is the worst off season move by The Rockets so far....
the rebuild was not supposed to be about balanced rosters, solid coaching etc etc et alia. So, now perhaps there’s a real NBA team in town!??
Those corn dog looking things are really distracting during games, I did not know that... Its not helping...
With KPJ gone we're going to see a lot of Amen off the bench since we'll need ball handling and he's a natural high IQ passer and then you add his defensive skills and size we won't be able to keep him off the court.
So? I assume that doesn't bother you. FYI, Bullock's sister - who was transgender- was murdered in a hate crime. Reggie promotes LGBTQA+ causes in memory of her.
I don't disagree or at least I think I'm not disagreeing with you. I didn't and don't undertand your "But" from the previous post. The use of "But" made me think you were trying to make a point and I was trying to figure out what it was. Edit: I don't consider playing significantly better over someone not ready for the NBA and/or someone that doesn't fit other players as a game changer.
