this is so true. remember everyone was worried about the texans WRs and now all of sudden they are all top WR threats.. Nico being a top WR after being a ghost for 2 years is crazy.

And to top it off… he seemed panic’d as he was making it. It wasn’t as seamless as it could have been….. yet it was instincutual and once his brain clicked that he had to make that throw, it was perfect.

There’s no combine, wonderlic, extra testing, alma mater that can account for those sorts of instincts translated into perfection. If there was, Patrick Mahomes wouldn’t have been the 10th pick in the draft.

Oh man!!.... Stroud already became the first player with X amount of yards with 0 INTs in their 3 career games.

Now he's had another 300-yard game with 0 INTs

Alright.. now that the tail tucked between the legs admission has been colllected…. Time to close this thread, the silly Levis thread, and focus mainly on game threads where we have a team that actually has preparation, coaching, a QB, and a clue.

Yeah I was pretty hard on CJ.
I was wrong about him as a player and how he translated to pros.
I’m still not a fan of his representation but the kid seems like a humble, hard working kid.
I’m happy to have him and support him

CJ Stroud is #4 in passing yards and the only QB with over 1,200 yards and no interceptions.

The top 3 passing yards leaders have a combined 12 interceptions.

    And Bryce and AR.
    Be honest at the least.

To be fair, he’s still a pocket QB. But it doesn’t matter, what’s he’s doing is special

    Cons:

    OSU QB
    Unathletic
    Low arm talent
    No Wiggle
    Test Score
    Can't process reads
Talent around him bailed him out
    Not gritty

    Pros:

    Plays QB

What part of my statement was dishonest. I'm not here to defend you from your own positions. If you didn't prop up Levis while trying to talk down on Stroud you would've gotten substantially less heat just being hyped about Bryce or AR. The weird fascination with Levis despite being overly pessimistic and cynical about Stroud was your problem.

You’re intentionally leaving out facts to fit your narrative. It’s dishonest at best.
There was no weird fascination with anyone. Bryce, Levis, AR and Stroud were all talked about as high level prospects.
At no point did anyone ask for Levis to be drafted at 2. But you can keep lying if you like

No. I’ve been acting like a normal human.
Literally no one could have predicted that Stroud would be doing this.

    Even his biggest proponents.

Kudos to stroud, but it is possible that Slowick is a genius. How is this offense functioning with dudes off the street all over the OL.
