I was mocking the posters who still try to make excuses for kpj. I am totally anti violence of any kind. And there is literally no excuse for it unless you are put in a position to defend yourself or others.
Sounds like he’s under a restraining order, which is typical with a DV bond. He will not be able to talk to her. If he does, he goes to jail for breaking the bond/restraining order.
They let him slide with everything, and how the hell is he supposed to learn? A dude with all the gifts in the world, but no respect for his own life or anyone else's. People like that don't deserve a place in society, they belong on the fringes or in the slammer. He wants people to beg him to be a millionaire while playing basketball? **** him. There are thousands of people like him waiting to get a chance. Screw him!
Bro wtf? Some people still compare this to the Miles Bridges case and say he may return to the team in the future. This man needs to go to jail.
Ya somehow this is way worse to me. A fracture from a punch or a shove can be less intentional than a fracture from strangulation. If you fractured someone from strangulation your intent was to kill.
Why so emotional? I said I would have to be talked out of cutting him. I think you're not understanding how bad the team has been. Tell me what Jalen Green does better than Porter? Van Vleet is a better defensive player and probably better passer. He's a weaker rebounder and scorer. This has nothing to do with off the court stuff when I say he's second or third best. Check your emotions man... kpj needs to be doing that too... he's probably banished himself to Turkey or Russia for 5 years...
I am no legal expert. Just wondering out loud. Usually if you want big money, you don't sue the individual. You sue the company.
KPJ Lawyers are searching to find out if Kysre went to see any Chiropractors recently...… put the blame on them for the fracture.
fwiw: Porter doesn’t have to submit to an NBA interview, since he’s under criminal prosecution. I suppose that right to not speak is protected by the constitution. here’s the CBA wording: Section 11. League Investigations. (a) Players are required to cooperate with investigations of alleged player misconduct conducted by the NBA. Failure to so cooperate, in the absence of a reasonable apprehension of criminal prosecution, will subject the player to reasonable fines and/or suspensions imposed by the NBA. so, since KPJ has “reasonable apprehension of criminal prosecution,” he can stay quiet and let his lawyer handle things, without penalties from the league.
This is why victims stop cooperating, because if they jail KPJ she won't be paid, as his money will dry up, most of them do the pragmatic thing and stop cooperating for a large settlement fee. That is what happens on most of these deals. DD
