Mail in ballots were "dropped overnight" because the state legislatures made it to where in-person ballots had to be counted prior to mail in ballots. ****ing clown.

The grievances in this thread are so delusional and obviously wrong. OP isn't interested in learning anything or being corrected on false assumptions.

All any network has to go on is what is reported. Trump distrusted the tabulation and thus was suspicious of the reporting.

Timeline? Context? Subject to multiple interpretations.

Just admit it. Dragging this whole thing out is about inflicting political damage.

It was in the sworn testimony. It was before Jan. 6th and the big lie continued afterwards.

Political Damage??..............then you simply don't want to believe that trump did anything wrong and he is above the law, he broke the law(s) to the tune of trying to block a peaceful transfer of power and had more classified docs that he REFUSED to give back even after the doj said pretty please multiple times. If you REALLY think this is about political damage then you're simply not willing to believe any of it.........at the least, you should want to know how this turns out in a trial which he will do his best to avoid.

Political Damage is what trump asked barr to do to Obama and Biden but barr knew better and would not.......so there's that double standard

Except a lot of other media didn't make that call. AZ officials certainly didn't make that call. So that you're accepting that Trump lashed out at non-supporters is exactly the point. This wasn't Democracy Now! or CNN. This was Fox News and shows that Trump was very aware of that he was very likely going to lose the election and rather than accept that he lashed out.

It's not a lie if you believe it. Is Trump's utterance one of exasperation or sincere confession? I go with the former. Of course you go with the latter.

Trump is a hot mess. He should have let this go a long time ago because it has only incited motives to pile on and make him into a revolutionary figure.

Does it surprise you that he's a sore loser? Not me. He had to battle everyone and everything (including himself sometime) since he announced his candidacy-- even his own party. Everyone is disgusted with party politics. Trump was an outsider to that and that's why so many supported him and still do. Biden is a mess. Kamala Harris is a joke. Trump is no threat to anything except your side's peace of mind.

This goes to a point I was making in another thread. It's not those who are pointing out that Trump broke the law, that Trump is corrupt, and that he is rightfully indicted that are supporting him through donations or attending rallies. That even though you characterize him as a "Hot Mess" yet in the same sentence call him a "revolutionary figure" just shows that it's a reflexive defense of Trump and not a principled defense.

Again it's not my side funding him or attending his rallies. IN a lot of bizzarre arguments this is one of the truly bizarre. It goes that Trump is only popular because he's opposed. It's essentially saying that those who support him have no agency and only react towards what they oppose than what they actually believe.

Also based on this post will you agree then that much of Trump's problems were created by Trump himself?

"Revolutionary figure"? What other candidate can you point to that has done what trump has done:
    • Incited followers to march onto the Capital?
    • Asked his vice president to delay the certification of the election results?
    • Called secretary of states in states where he lost asking them to overturn the election?
    • Sent out fake electors to seven states to overturn those election results?
    • Approached state supreme courts to overturn the election results?

In another rule for thee but not for me we have an argument made that Trump is only popular because he is being prosecuted for a political basis. At the same time many of those arguing this also would like to see Biden prosecuted too. If they don't like Biden wouldn't prosecuting him also mean that he will be more popular?

The argument here is that law and order should matter for you (Biden) but for Trump it's just a political witchhunt.

"Sore loser" falls in a similar trump defense category of "mean tweets" and ignores the harm he is causing to our very democracy. Its not enough to hope the next president doesn't repeat his actions or escalates them, especially if that next president is trump himself. His disregard for American institutions and norms (political, social, and legal) is a huge threat to America. You have every right to oppose any Democrat, but ignoring the harm trump is doing to the country simply show you favor politics over country.

You know that Trump is a liar and corrupt, yet you want to excuse his behavior at all costs because it fits your political aims.
