For those whining about Gilbert, we have 2 years of Tuck and McCormick is here a lot longer if he's legit. They have 2 years to develop a corner outfielder or sign one if Tucker leaves. Not a big deal....
depends on the return obviously, but i dont see where these guys fit in next year regardless. maybe shedding lance and/or montero salary can increase our chances of re-upping tucker. would be useful to offload either of their salaries anyhow.

That's a lot of money. If Crane utilizes the pocket cash to keep adding over the LT the next 2 seasons, I will have zero issues with this trade. If he operates under the LT as if we're paying Verlander full price, that's a Tilman Fertitta move. If we win another chip he can do whatever the f**k he wants with the money.
