JV was the only player I thought the Astros would trade Gilbert for and happy for the result. Crane may have saved a boat load on JVs contract for just not having him for a few months. If he could have released Gilbert and Clifford in the off season to keep JV at a reduced priced he probably would have done it, so to Crane it's a win I'm sure.

ROTATION Verlander Valdez Javier Brown France BENCH Dubon Meyers Kessinger Julks BULLPEN Pressly Abreu Graveman Neris Urquidy Maton LINE UP Altuve Pena Alvarez Bregman Tucker Abreu McCormick Diaz Maldonado The Braves have been amazing, the Dodgers and Rays and Orioles and Rangers all are great - but this on paper is probably the best team in baseball and on paper likely better than the team that won the WS. Outside of catcher and the 5th man in the pen, there really are no weaknesses.
