I like it. I'm not that high on Lee, especially with Diaz looing more and more like we could have an All-Star catcher for the first time since Castro was the team pity pick in 2013. Graveman adds a solid arm to the pen and fills a big need.

Can't wait to see what's next.

I thought Castro deserved it in 2013. He was actually pretty good and the position in the AL was terrible.

Castro signing cost them Graveman. Castro ended up stealing money.

They were going to give him more money/year for 2 years… he left for a 3 year deal.

Now the Astros get him for 1.5 years anyways…

I was just talking about 2013, not the second trip around the organization.

Graveman was very average for us his first go around.

I suppose Graveman could potentially help us more than Lee would have.
    Seems a bit rich though.

    Better not be done, Dana.

I remember him as one of the only reliable arms in the BP for the playoffs.

1.40 whip in the reg season for us. He did pitch better in the playoffs but we were never in that Braves series.

Dana already has history with graveman. He was part of the Toronto staff that drafted him in 13’

If they wouldn't have signed Castro, they would have had money to re-sign Graveman. Oh well, water under the bridge.

He was much better when it counted the most in the playoffs.

Nah, Dana just said he was in TOR when they drafted Graveman. So he was originally drafted by a staff with Brown on it.

He knows him well and said he's excited about being back. Also mentioned they liked bringing back a talented guy who was familiar with the clubhouse.

They were in the series down 2-1 with a lead and Dusty's bullpen usage stunk.

Or they regretted not just giving him the 3rd year… so they didn’t make that mistake with Montero!
