Can Geoff Blum retire that stupid Will Ferrell Wedding Crashers reference whenever Chas does something good? Firstly the movie is not even good, it never really stood the test of time, second of all it's getting old
Should be this 1. Chas 2. Dubon 3. Tucker 4. Bregs 5. Diaz 6. Abreu 7. Julks 8. Meyers 9. Pena yordan in for meyers when he returns and bat him 3rd, of course.
Dusty knows more about the locker room than anybody who is here. It's fair to criticize the guy when the results aren't working, but clearly they are and the Astros are in the thick of things this season. It's possible that some guys are complacent and others are not. Perhaps being benched lit a fire in Chas that would not have occurred if he was given everything. Same with Diaz. There is a lot more to baseball than spreadsheets, there's personality management and that's what Dusty excels at. The blend of analytics and personality is what leads to success
It's funny how "light a fire under them" applies to Diaz and Chas but not Maldonado. Maybe Dusty can apply some of that amazing blend of analytics and personality to help Machete succeed.
He inherited the best team in baseball. It’s a stretch to say that Chas needed the yo-yo treatment for 2 years to become better and that it was all part of Szechuan Master Baker’s plan all along. That’a a fantasy plot at best.
Is there a specific tie in with Chas on that quote or did he just randomly start saying that quote for Chas homeruns?
Will Ferrell's character's name is Chazz in the movie Wedding Crashers. Chazz yells up stairs to his mom to bring more meatloaf.
if making one of the greatest catch of all time in the WS isn't enough to be in the lineup on opening day and an everyday player, then idk what is. johnnie baker has no choice but to play him everyday now because he's scorching.
