North Carolina food influencer dogs Houston food scene! Gets threats

I have had some bad brisket here in houston. Not too many times but sometimes it is dry.

 

I actually like some of his reviews and he gives a lot of love to several places in Houston on his IG - some of them probably places nobody's ever heard of. All that video talks about are his BBQ choices. In it, almost all of them except the top 2 seemed to have a thing or two wrong with what he ate, but he didn't seem to be hating on all of them.

Since I don't live in Houston, I never go to any of these places, but I'd love to try Glory Cuisines after his review, especially since it's a mom & pop place. That mess looked way too much, too mixed up, but oh so good. I guess for $28, it should. But from another video he posted, he said it's currently being run by a 68 year old lady and his video blew it up because the parking lot was empty when he went. Now he's saying some people are reporting 3 hour wait times. Crazy.

 

He ain't lyin... Some of the better reviewed places in Houston tastes like something my dear Aunt could make..

 

I liked Gatlin's when I had it.

I don't get BBQ snobbery... every city does theirs a bit differently and it's all pretty good in the end.

 

He don’t like the H he can take his floppy ass on a one way trip back to bland-ass yankee-land NC.

 

What does our renowned food critic Jeff Balke have to say about this?
