I've been watching that dude get interviewed today and thinking the same thing... he looks sleazier than when he was in his prime. Especially with that mustache.
Don't wanna drag politics in here, but this s**t was too hilarious to pass up, and yes this is the real audio.
AEW has already hit 43,000 in the pre-sale in two days for the Wembley Stadium PPV. Already their biggest show and biggest gate.
And passed the 60,000 mark on the first day of general admission. Might actually sell out an 80k seat Stadium.
Forbidden Door has the best card of a PPV that I can ever remember Kenny Omega vs Will Ospreay - IWGP U.S. TITLE Bryan Danielson vs Okada MJF vs Hiroshi Tanahashi - AEW TITLE Sanada vs Jungle Boy - IWGP TITLE Orange Cassidy vs Zack Sabre - AEW INTERNATIONAL TITLE Probably still 4-5 matches TBA with Punk, Miro & Andrade returning for the new show debut on Saturday and nothing for Bucks, Hangman, MOX & BCC, FTR, House of Black, etc announced yet
If the Astros got ya down do yourself a solid and watch the best match ever on AEW free tv..FTR/BULLET CLUB GOLD 2 out of 3 falls. An hour of excellence!
Last night AEW made their Boston debut for Dynamite and it may have been one of the best free tv shows in quite some time. The opened the night with what I expect to be the first of a series of matches between Jungle Boy and Hook after the fallout of Jungle Boy turning on Hook at Forbidden Door. While the match was nothing to go crazy about it was more about the storytelling with the ending of the match being able to set up future matches where I would expect the quality to get better. After a short Britt Baker squash match we got the finals of the bling tag team tournament for a future title shot and the team of MJF and Cole continue to entertain. They are so over in such a short time that it feels like anything they do with that story is gold. Then the 2nd half of the show was all about blood and guts and it did not disappoint. They introduced a new weapon (at least something I have never seen in wrestling) and Pac may have had the spot of the spot of the night putting a Young Buck through a table. I respected the way they ended the match with dissention from one team costing them the match as it opens up the door for future matches and feuds based off of it.
So many wrestlers die young, man. He had some life-threatening disease that he was working through, from what I have read.
