A dog with a good attitude and high character. Dude's unique! We all saw his defensive intensity. Saw him make corner 3s and some creative, athletic buckets. We need Nate the Great! He belongs on the Rockets varsity.

This is hard because the team was good but I would take Hudgins, Hinton and Mayer.

No reason he couldn’t push Days out and be a 12th man for this team. We sign Grandpa Green for 16 million because of his leadership…why not this guy for the minimum. Worst case he teaches guys how to hustle.

He reminds me of a better shooting smaller Corey Brewer. Seems to do very well in transition and is always looking to sprint down the court for an easy 2. Defense seems solid due to his effort and intensity but does seem to be an average athlete. I would be curious to see how he plays against real pros in training camp and preseason games. Definitely think he should at least get a 2 way contract or even a roster spot. Seems like a great leader that won't take any days off whether he is playing or not.

I like Hinton, but there are way too many players listed here:

    https://hoopswire.com/2023-nba-free-agents/

Sign those names first then worry about the rest. Only player that fills an immediate need is Matther Mayer and his quick stroke from outside. That and his ability to cut off his shooting reputation. He’s also somewhat tall. I’m just not that excited about Hudgins when Mac McClung is out there.

More signings will change it up though.

I liked Mayer but seems to me he has no idea about positioning and weak in awareness.Jeff and Sengun might help him if Rockets sign him.

I loved Hinton at UH and I really think he should have stayed in school one more year it would have done his game a world of good back when he entered the NBA.

He's like a better shooting less athletic David Nwaba. I happened to like Nwaba. Hinton has the frenetic energy style you like seeing of a player auditioning for a role. If he can hit 3's, which this team really needs, he's got a chance to stick
