I was watching some yt on throwback videoplayers (VHS, laserdisc, etc...) and a big reason why directors were pressured to cut films within 2 hrs was because distributors wanted to fit everything on one 2 hr tape. With bluray and streaming that stopped being a hard requirement.

If it wasn't him, then it would have been somebody else.

I look forward to seeing this. I always liked that other film in the same vein..."Fat Man and Little Boy".

I am a Nolan Fan but have not liked his last two films Dunkirk and Tenet. I don't hate them per say. I have zero interest in Oppenheimer.

It doesn't look like there has been a good movie about the making of the bomb. So looking forward to the possibility it has been made. Like the cast. Like the Director. BUT, since no good movie about it has ever been made that is worrisome. All that said, the fact that the Director was sold on 3 hours is a good sign to me that he put together a solid story.

    Florence Pugh nekked?

    Works for me.

She's been killing it last couple years. Now, Dune Part 2, Nekkedheimer. Good for her.

I will have to go to Philadelphia if I want to watch this in its pure presentation. Only like 30 theaters in the US will be able to show it natively.

Or I’ll watch on my phone one day.

Supposedly any theater other than those listed will crop the movie because he filmed in two aspect ratios

    Lol, gotcha.

Chris Nolan: "Movies are meant to be seen in theaters"

Also Nolan: [releases epic movie that can only be properly viewed in 30 theaters]

Never seen a Hollywood movie on IMAX...might make a trip to SA for this one
