I go to fitness connection and don't see much of this but one thing I have learned from watching these types of videos is to not look at anyone while I workout, I close my eyes most of the time when I am on a machine and dont try and make eye contact. It is hard when a beautiful woman walks by and she's a tad sweaty in her tight yoga pants and a shirt that is barely covering the rest of her..............but hey, ya dont want to come off as creepy. The one complaint I have of gyms is the meathead who thinks he has to use 2-3 machines at a time and leaves his crap all over each machine................or the guy who comes over just as I start and ask, "how much longer ya got" or the people who don't clean their dam sweat off the machines.

All good reasons to get equipment for your home, where you can pick your nose and wipe it off on your nuts all day long.

Related gripe, and I may be on my own here, but I NEVER ever ask anybody if I can work in if they are on a machine or a bench that I need. I either do a different part of my workout until the machine is free, or I find an alternative. I absolutely can't stand when people ask me to work in. I never say no, but it's disruptive and throws me off. Seriously, just wait until I'm done, or go do something else.

Equally annoying is when they stand and stare waiting until you're done.

It's been a while since I worked out in a gym (my garage power rack is the best thing I've ever bought), but I think this is contextual. I never had a problem letting other regulars work in since we knew each other and maintained a mutual respect. Gyms that attract a more dedicated crowd (not PF) seem to have an understanding that everyone is there to put in some work so it's not a big deal to let somebody work in if you're taking 2-3 minutes in between sets.
