    Try At the Drive-In, d00d!

If that stuff is too old for you...lets see what's new...dunno. I am one of the few and far between fans of nu metal, so let's say Deftones. Definitely Deftones.

Anyone heard the new Megadeth tracks? There are 3 of them on iTunes. Pretty old school sounding.

I think they have an x-member in Sparta as well.

And then crackhead referenced 'Belle and Sebastion'. Did this some how turn into a favorite 'twee band' thread?

Haha about that Belle and Sebastian thing. Had me  too.

About ATDI: they were afraid that if they stayed together, they'd just make the same kind of albums over and over again. So they split into two, the more progressive/artsy guys (the guys with the afros) becoming Mars Volta, whereas the poppier-minded kids started Sparta. Actually saw Sparta live, which was great. Much better than studio stuff.
