Great to hear the 3rd year is a Rocket's option. Still a massive overpay. When will the Rockets have players sign for less to chase a ring? That sounds like a future poll question... but I think "not in my lifetime" would win in a landslide.

Anything better than James Harden so glad we didn't bring that loser back...

With the third year as a team option this really is an excellent signing and about the best we could have realistically hoped for with the cap space being used for this deal.

Clutch tweeted it. That's the only legit place I've seen it.

I'm actually surprised he took a team option. If he said no, I'm sure Stone would have turned that into a player option. We had no other option.

Third year team option is more palatable.
I guess kpj lost his head honcho role to an undrafted player.

Where does he fit in the ime system now? As a sixth man like folks been clamoring for seasons? Or will he finally displace green for his natural position like kpj stans been wanting?

Who cares if he was undrafted? Should Jokic not be eligible for a MVP because he was only drafted in the 2nd round? Give me a break man - there are many paths to being a good player - some more common than others but none more valid or worthy than the other.

He can make layups much better than Tari Eason. I think even Momster would admit it. :D

Someone who is paid 45 million a year, still in the prime of his career with no injuries, should be able to get his team to 32 wins just by waking up and rolling out of bed.
