That's the beauty of the contract, not only is he unbenchable, but the offense will be tailored around him so Ime and Rafel don't have to admit defeat and suffer a scathing humiliation mere months into the contract. Remember when BoB traded Nuk Hopkins for David Johnson? David got force-fed touches for the next few years to make the trade look good, I expect the same thing to happen here.

Not a bust, a promising coach but 1 year with a 51-31 record (two budding stars) is not the experience level one expected as well.

Morris was not a bust but also not Paul Pierce.

He actually was a generic 14th overall pick.

Brooks barely cracked 10 pts a game in the series with the Lakers. The games that the Grizzlies won he actually played less minutes. Really hope this guy is worth the contract.

 

None of the stats are wrong, if he plays the same way here jacking up 15 shots a game on 51%ts then this is a horrible signing. I’m guessing Udoka has a different role for him.

Yeah that part is a mystery because the synergy stats say he’s elite. Guess we will see what his advanced stats are in a new system.
