    To me it appears we are acquiring better defenders. Seems to be the theme of this off-season. Considering we been absolutely awful the last few years, I like the plan. We aren't convincing superstars to come to this team, not that there are any available that interest us, so I don't think it's a bad plan. I'm concerned about Brooks and his ego on the offensive end, but can't question his defensive intensity. Overpaying was necessary to pry players away, just the reality of our situation.
