Nope, he has never had an efficient season in his career. His best mark was as a rookie at .531 TS%. Since then he's bounced around between .494 and .515, which is godawful.

 

Don't have a problem with getting Brooks, but why the hell they doing a S&T when they can just sign him outright?!

It has nothing to do with that. I think the majority of us can get over his immaturity and having a big mouth, our problem is the fact that he believes he should have a bigger role offensively. He is terribly inefficient.

 

I'm reserving judgment, but today so far has been the single worst day in the history of the rebuild. Could it be that Ime is another carpetbagger coach who couldn't give two flying ****s about this franchise, and is going to run this ship into the ground the way Bill O'Brien did for football?

My guess is that they likely have another move in kind and need the flexibility. We need another big man that can help out defensively. You can have the best perimeter defenders in the world, but with the current rules, if you don't have a good defender at the 5, those perimeter players will appear much weaker than they are.

Sengun, for as good as he is offensively, still has a lot to grow up defensively.

 

Did we dump salary so we could just barely scrape the salary floor with Brooks? Or to bid against ourselves to overpay him? There better be another move in the pipe.
