    On the latest Russillo pod, there was a great discussion about the drop for Cam Whitmore. The discussion starts around 36:40.

    Small bullets i liked were
    • Sam Vecenie thought that teams overthought this
    • Sounds like the medicals were just a small factor
    • Whitmore doesnt have an outgoing personality, so his interviews did not go well
    • P3 rated Whitmore's athleticism on par with Anthony Edwards!

    He's a kid. All of this is always a crapshoot. Gotta give them space to grow into men. I am thrilled we got him at 20. I mean, it's not like he supplied his friend with a murder weapon . . .

    As it looks like we got both but would still prioritize Amen over Cameron.

    You need a hierarchy....even at his best teams would have picked Cam below Amen.

    He's 18. Cam will grow and his maturity will grow as well. He's going to need time to mature. Give it time.

    I was surprised to hear him described the way he was from these anonymous FO guys. Have you seen this promo video he and his family did for some tattoo balm or something? He comes across really good in this.

    I still can’t believe he dropped to 20. Time will tell but I am so curious to look at this draft in ~6 years.

    Trayce Jackson-Davis going 2nd to last pick in the 2nd round will also be a coup. He’s going to be really good is GSW, especially off the bench with CP3 now. He’s not like most rookies, is a seasoned/experienced rookie.

    Honestly, I am more excited about Cam right now than Amen, this kid is gonna prove haters wrong. Nothing wrong with Amen's potential, but I feel people are going to be regretting passing on Cam.
