According to league sources, who were granted anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the trade talks, Miami would send guards Kyle Lowry and Duncan Robinson, along with multiple first-round picks, to Washington for Beal. Phoenix would send center Deandre Ayton and additional cap filler or include future Hall of Fame point guard Chris Paul and Landry Shamet to the Wizards for Beal.

While the Wizards would prefer guard Tyler Herro to be in any potential trade with Miami, the Heat, for now, are trying to keep Herro out of the deal, offering Robinson instead. The Heat are believed to be among Beal’s most preferred teams for a trade.

The Rockets need to facilitate the trade to either team. We have lots of cap space and can absorb bad contracts to get a pick or two. Especially if the trade is to Portland, who wants players more than anything. Also Landry would actually be an ideal backup here with only one year left on his contract. There isn't anyone available on the Suns that I would want. Ayton has one of the worst contracts in the league, so do not want. Portland does have one particular asset we want, #3.

We should swoop in and grab Klow before bustin a load on Harden/FVV or striking out on Reaves

Lowry and Lopez, the grizzled defensive & team oriented, championship experienced, all star accomplished vets who can shoot the 3 ball, anchor the defense, set up the offense, and instill a rock-solid culture along with Ime, all while being clear-cut transitory pieces with no long term cap or role obligations.

Not the highest upside or biggest splash off-season, but definitely not the worst, and certainly one of the most respectable scenarios.

    Isn't that conflict of interest?

BTW, why do the Suns want Beal? He is redundant, a lesser version of Booker.

More good players = more wins, fit doesn’t matter much. Good players will find a way to fit

I like the idea of us facilitating, but feels like that's too much for Wiz to give up/too much return in general for Beal's massive contract.

Ishbia is a brand new owner, reminds me of a trigger happy Ballmer when he came into ownership.

Those are just prestige objects for him, he wants one or two every year, I guess.

What is noteworthy is that the Wizards exceeded the perfect timing to trade Beal.....and now are desperate to get rid of him because he is no Number 1 option.

FWIW, Bradley Beal is listed as a better career 3 pt shooter, had more steals and blocks more shots than Devin Booker.

Not by much though. For those who say Booker is the better version of Beal.

(Booker had a phenomenal playoffs this year, his personal best and best on the Suns)

IDK. They play the same position, in pretty much the same shoot first and shoot second and look to pass third style. I can imagine if they play together, the only "system" they can go with is "your turn my turn" kind of game. And there's Durant who also needs to shoot.

They need a play maker who also plays defense, kind of like CP but younger and more durable to compete in the playoffs.

Yeah they are very close. Booker is slightly more efficient on higher usage.
