If Amen shot that “well” as Freshman at any D1 college, no team would be guaranteeing Amen to be drafted in the first round.

Amen is the type of player who could break Kobe's missed shot record in like 8 seasons.

yeah looks pretty bad. not only the shot mechanics and the misses, but some of the decision making. this is probably one of the weakest part of his game so unfair to judge the whole prospect based on this but shooting being a premium and all nowadays. can't really be super excited

crazy thing is if Amen was in college, he’d be heading into his Junior year

Idk why they chose such trash competition with OTE. How much were they paid?

If they had gone to college, they wouldn't have made as much money AND they'd be exposed as frauds being forced to face better competition.

I think you have a misconception of what OTE is. It’s a league that recruits highly touted High School players who decided to take a non traditional route foregoing college or their last couple years of high school. Many of them are 5 star recruits and some of the top players in their high school class. Some of these guys are also NCAA commits who declined a salary to play in OTE before going to their College program. So your “worse than high school” statement is incorrect.

The shot doesn’t look good and concerning but it certainly can be worked on and developed. At least he has a pull up game in his bag. He really needs to diversify his game and include a 8-10 ft floater. His development and growth may take longer but again this all depends on how willing he is to sharpen his game. Very raw prospect.

If it was every drive by Amen or every assist, everyone would think differently. There’s nothing wrong with highlighting a weakness but not everyone is gonna back your agenda. Dude can still do a lot of other things but ultimately this lowlight video doesn’t scare me off. Amen is still in my top 3 picks:

    Victor
    Scoot
    Amen
&I’d be perfectly happy with Miller at 4th

Lightning quick and good control and awareness on offense. He finds shooters on wings and corners and willing to give up the rock. He is very intriguing to me despite some shooting flaws.

You're going to call a pro league worse than high school but question perspective?

Amen did the same thing against "better" competition when the teamed toured Spain and Serbia.

    Reddit - Dive into anything

The guy is a top flight athlete. He's a playmaker first, putting tons of pressure on the paint and kicking to open shooters, a trait that is desperately needed on this squad. He's a defender capable of switching to anyone with perimeter skills. He's probably as dominant in the open floor as a prospect could possibly be. He's known as a hard worker and good character person. This is someone who impacts WINNING.

You hide his jumpshot with an effective drive/kick game, you play him in the dunker spot, you let him eat Sengun's dimes off the post and you increase vertical spacing with him as a lob threat.

That he's also not a teenager should thrill the snot out of this fanbase.

Porter has already come out and said Ime's word is the word. Ime has already spoken about his catch/shoot ability. Thompson-Green-Porter-Smith-Sengun is a 23U all-star team.

Who else at 4? Whitmore? A no passing, teenage chucker? Walker? A limited upside glue guy?

Lord, please let someone fall in love with 6'1" Henderson and the health history of short, explosive 1s. Let us get a freak, 2 way athlete at 4. AMEN

So he's just an athletic kid who looks like he's doing a lot with his fancy handles but actually not doing anything, not that much of a playmaker and can't make a shot to save his life. HARD PASS.

I don’t. I’m just saying your assessment isn’t accurate nor is it based on reality. Really makes you look dumb and it is obvious you have no idea what you’re talking about.
