Bagwell calling the next series with Blum out should be interesting. They’ll probably talk around J. Abreu struggling is my bet. Pretty much what they’ve already been doing. Don’t acknowledge it and it’s not real I guess…
I bet they talk about it quite a bit. WTF does Bagwell care about what this BBS thinks of his advisory role?
Well he’s been nowhere to be found since the off-season where he was everywhere acting and talking like the face of the front office.
Because they have an actual GM? Bagwell took the interviews when there was nobody else to interview... do you just want him to have his own press conferences now?
15 more hits, 4 more runs, 8 more RBIs, 6 more walks in 83 more PA/79 more AB, while hitting behind Alvarez and ahead of Tucker, 19x the money,…am I supposed to be impressed? Spoiler Neither is the answer (hence why they moved on from YG) but Abreu has been absolute dog ****.
He'll offer some insights based on times when he struggled over long stretches... and the things he tried to do to turn it around. Pretty much what he does with every broadcast.... he did as much last year with Yuli's struggles as well.
A few weeks ago Alex Cintron says he think it's something is mechanically off and they're working on correcting it. They ask J. Abreu and he disagrees and says he's just not seeing the ball well. What's the disconnect there? His swing looks like a swinging bunt so I'm learning Cintron here but if Abreu doesn't agree, maybe he's just stubborn and set in his ways.
This is where I am at. I posted earlier before today's game that there are a ton of jackasses getting really nitpicky about wins, when we should just be really happy about all of the winning lately. That's definitely true. Doesn't mean I'm happy with some of the moves going on right now. I'm actually quite pissed. Time and place.
And these cats would die if they saw how philly, NY, Boston, Baltimore fans yell and scream at their teams like it’s religion. They say horrible things! Nobody off limits. It’s so very mild in here, comparatively. A whole city referred to their team as “dem bums” for years! It’s ingrained. Embrace the tradition of baseball in america.
Well obviously the implication is that all of Houston feels this way, not just the bbs. Duh. Also, I’m not sure anyone here (including you) has any idea what Bagwell does or doesn’t care about.
