Doesn’t seem like it. At the end of the game he should have taken a timeout and drawn up a quick 3. Then they can go for a steal and try to tie it up. Instead he didn’t call the timeout. I know it was a long shot at that point, but shouldn’t you at least try to win? We have seen crazier things happen when it comes to comebacks at the end of a game. I’m my opinion that lack of fight at the end is unforgivable.

The Rockets second championship run was amazing. They were the 6 seed that year and beat great teams every round without home court advantage. They beat great teams with amazing talent the whole way (Jazz, Suns, Spurs, Magic). I’d argue that was even more impressive than what the Heat are doing because road wins were much tougher back then due to exhaustion from less favorable flights.

In addition to just thriving in high-pressure situations, I think one of the things that makes Jimmy so great in the playoffs is that he seems to excel when the game slows down and grinds into a half-court set. It really allows his basketball IQ and excellent defense to shine through. Seems like it turns him from a back end of the top 10 player in the regular season into an MVP contender level guy in the postseason.

This reminds me of the Houston Rockets down 0-2 to Phoenix even though we had been up big in games 1 and 2, the Choke city team.

Boston has been up and collapsed, if they stay the course they win.

In all due respect, I think Boston loses the series. Most teams don't come back from 2-0. The Rockets did but they are an exception. The Heat are exceptionally pesky, and Butler is a gamer.

Oh, I agree, but the dynamics are eerily similar....both double digit blown leads.....at home....

From a rockets perspective, it is a good sign Celtics are not as good this year without Udoka, and the biggest missing thing is consistency.
