I bet Wemby saw the roster where Keldon Johnson as their best player knowing as a rookie he will immediately be able to take 20 shots a night because no one else on the team has much in scoring talent.

Wemby will win rookie of the year and have a spectacular 3 year career on a losing team.

Is this legit? Someone could have very easily edited that reaction to occur right when Rockets were named.

But in any case, I don't really care. It's over. Wemby will never be a Rocket. Time to move on. Order Landry's tonight and tell yourself it's actually good food. Eat so much that you can't feel anything at all anymore. Once you reach that state, it won't seem like Rockets are in such a bad spot.

Sengun is better. Sengun will have a longer and more productive NBA career. And Sengun will dunk on this jerk's ass.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry that Tilman has brought this franchise to the laughing stock it is today.

On one hand it hurts. On the other hand it's pretty funny a rookie is downright giddy over the fact he knows he won't have to come here.

Not surprised. He was likely a Spurs fan when Parker was there and it seemed inevitable to most of us that he would end up in San Antonio. Spurs are one of our most hated rivals. Hope we land a great player too. Life moves on.

Yeah sure why not. Of course, Jalen will go on to have a superlative 20 year career with multiple scoring titles.

I can't be mad at him.

The Rox have done a horrid job developing Green the past 2 years. I can't help but think he would be much further along if he got drafted by a more competent organization that at the very least had an NBA caliber PG on the roster.

Depends. This year's rookie of the year had a worse rookie season than Green. Maybe it's a very weak rookie class.

Yes and Stone is responsible for that reaction for not building a decent roster with a decent coach the last 3 years. We are starting from mud, our rep is crap, Udoka has a lot of work ahead to fix the culture that Stone created.

How much of this is media narrative driven?

The Spurs have been dog **** the last few years even with competent "win now" players in guys like DeRozan and Murray on their team and you don't get that narrative. Former washed up players talking trash like John Wall because he got butt hurt that he got benched over KPJ and scrubs like Austin Rivers want to speak up. Why do we care?

Of course Silas was a poor coach but why do people pretend there is some vast chasm in the way the current Spurs organization is run and the Rockets organization is run?

Is the Spurs roster that much less talented and dog **** that they get a free pass for 22 wins?

You know, this makes me feel better about not getting him, kinda like Mobley not wanting us.

    Also, F him.

Agreed...Stone needs to show something this offseason or he needs to go too...keeping silas made us look like an AAU team and hurt public perception, not to mention the rockets brand as a whole
