With the way this fell out, I would expect Charlotte to pick Scoot and Portland to either pick Miller or trade their pick away for a proven star (which we don't have). There is a chance Charlotte is willing to talk about letting us trade up for the rights to Scoot since they have LaMelo. They are probably more likely to take him and move LaMelo to the 2, I would guess. In any case, I think there's a very high chance we end up with Amen Thompson. It's not ideal, I really wanted Wemby or Scoot, but it's not impossible that Amen is better than one or even both of those guys in the long term.
