If he helps Philly with a chip, they'll give Harden whatever he wants. He ain't leaving Philly if he gets a ring
Sixers up 3-2 on the Celtics and 2 of those wins were won by game-winners by Harden. I don't ever want to hear Bill Simmons talk **** about Harden again if they can pull this out. That will be 2 consecutive series where Harden has knocked out his beloved team.
Both of last year's finalists has no real C in their squads and doomed to be kicked out from the competition. Al Horford: Zero points in 25 minutes, 0/7 3pt. Hopeless.
Even if Harden wins a ring people will talk **** about him. It's guaranteed the moment he puts up a stinker.
If they plan on letting JG bring the ball up a lot (to let Harden rest some) like they do with Maxey then Jalen REALLY needs to improve his handle this off-season! I know it got a little better this year but it's still his biggest weakness by far imo! Even bigger than his lack of size/strength.
How tf did Embiid not make a single All-Defense team, but they put freaking Derrick White on the 2nd team? I’ve never watched White and thought “damn, that dude is elite on defense…he’s really locking up” they wouldn’t dare put him as a primary defender on Harden
If he wins a ring he's bulletproof no matter how much he stinks it up after that. Look at how much Dirk changed his narrative just with one ring.
the amount of influence that they have is ridiculous if they were gonna force a Celtic player onto All-Defense, Jaylen Brown should’ve been the one that made it. hopefully Boston loses this series in 6 and Brown is left off of All-NBA, then that trade demand is coming.
I don't know, Dirk was called soft but overall liked by the league. Nobody took active joy in seeing Dirk fail. I mean, look at how they were laughing at Harden before game 1, before a single second of the series had been played. There was a perverse mocking joy in his predicted failure the likes I've never seen before.
