If the Stroud character/coachability concerns are true, I'd rather have Levis/Richardson.

If they draft Levis, I’ll drive Caserio back to New England myself. Would be a Zach Wilson/like disaster and set the franchise back for years.

If I thought they’d be quick to remedy this by picking Caleb/Maye 1.1 next year after they see the disaster they created, I might find a way to eventually get over it. But it’d be Trubisky 2.0 level poor decision making.

Levis wouldn’t be my first choice, but I’m going to trust that the Texans FO and coaching staff are better talent evaluators than I am. For all the complaints about Levis, he’s got a cannon of an arm, he’s mobile, he’s run a pro-style offense in college, he’s played against top competition, he’s proven to be a very physically tough QB. He has his negatives, but he also has plenty of pros. If he’s the pick I’ll get on board with it.

You thinking Will at #2 then trade back up for AR15?

I am done with them if they take Levis at 2 bypassing stroud, Anderson, wilson, etc. I wouldn’t be able to root for such incompetence

Levis is a far better option than Stroud, but I wouldn’t want either at 2.

I want one of these new fancy athletic black QBs, not some boring white game-manager QB

Not sure if you’re joking or not, but Levis is way more athletic than Stroud or Bryce.
    He’s a Josh Allen type.
Either way, if you aren’t joking, that’s a weird statement

If the Texans draft Stroud after all these reports have stated that they're not sold on him, then it could be creating a cancerous situation. If they have any interest in Stroud, then they have seriously misplayed the situation.

Yea he has to be joking… I’m not the biggest Levis fan but he is athletic as hell. I mentioned a few post back for whatever reason Cj might be on teams boards qb 3.. So Texans might not have a choice but to take him at 2. We shall see..

I feel you.. But I don’t think the Texans are the only ones that are sour on Cj also… Just weird that out of no where negative info is coming out about him.

If the Texans take Levis at #2 they better be right.

That's a move that's going to put the GM's head right under the guillotine. It's ballsy. I don't agree with it but man I'm not going to be excited about it.

Sauce was thought to be the better CB and Nick picked Stingley who is a good prospect and young CB to be sure but Sauce looks like a perennial pro-bowler and a future star. I know they were close but I do remember most having Sauce over Stingley.

Sometimes these GMs try too hard to buck consensus to show they know better and sometimes it backfires. Good thing about going consensus is no one is going to blame you if he Stroud busts, it'd just be "Ah well, just unlucky, doesn't work out sometimes." but if you pick Levis at #2 you better be right.

I wouldn’t necessarily agree, we don’t know what has been said behind closed doors with these prospects.. it’s lying season.
