    Agreed. There are four coaches I’d be very happy with: Ime, Nurse, Atkinson, and Vogel. Outside that, I’d be at least a little disappointed barring someone unexpected.

    What ultimately got him fired was he fit well as a scapegoat to distract from an awful trade.

    I would never ask a Laker fan. Just look at the Fanspo trade posts and you will see what a completely delusional fan base they have.

    Vogel has developed and won with a young core in Indy. Won it all with a superstar in LA. Good way to hedge regardless of what happens with the roster.

    I do think Vogel has a bit of that same stench connected to him that MDA had prior to Houston.

    I certainly learned from my mistake from back then, because i was wholeheartedly against MDA, who proved amazing.

    Vogel has done what MDA couldnt, win a ring. He also lead those young Indy teams incresibly well.

    Would not be upset.

    Vogel wouldnt be a bad hire at all. Hes been in the NBA a long time and has all kinds of head coaching experience.

    Whether or not hes your top choice you have to at least recognize this would be an enormous step forward from Silas.

    Same for Nurse. The championship year, he had a very good all-around team. The rotation players all play good defense. Lowry, Danny Green, Kawhi. Siakam, Ibaka, Marc Gasol, OG. All are good players. I'm still leaning toward Kenny Atkinson. He had more experiment on young bad team.

    Another retread with a championship ring and lifetime winning record. Great coach and great person. Comparable to Silas from the human aspect, but can coach defense like nobody else.
