I don't care about your opinion because you'd call second year Brown a scrub also, someone who averaged more turnovers than assists.

Good point. Maybe Jaylen Brown. I’ve changed my mind about who I would send if I had no choice to Green, since Brown and him play the same position, but only if he agreed to sign an extension and the rest of the comp wasn’t outrageous. Still think Bridges if all you have to give up is not one of top 3 players and most of the Nets picks. If they do get Harden, PG is solved and KPJ and Green are more than adequate to play SG. Bridges would give them a very good vet that plays both sides of the ball and is much cheaper leaving more room to build out the team and is a more willing spot up shooter.

The same people here who went to trade Green for Brown would have probably wanted to have traded second year Brown for someone like Demar DeRozan and would be saying the same thing about Brown they are saying about Green. That's how I know their analysis here is pure garbage.

I think you have it backwards. The Celtics will have to start taking less for Brown because without an extension, he is still a rental you are risking acquiring for nothing. Bridges has 3 years left on his deal and the value of his contract is through the roof so Brooklyn can and will ask for a very nice package for him. Brown may be more of the "star" between the two but Bridges may be the best value for the money in the league because of everything he does.

I like Bridges in Houston way more but I think you are right that the cost to acquire is really the deciding factor for both Brown and Bridges. Also, acquiring Brown almost certainly means one of Green/Jabari/Sengun eventually don't make the cut and are traded because we can't pay for them all while paying Brown a max in the new CBA.

Second year Jalen Brown was better than your guy has ever been on both sides of the ball....and it's not close.

Talking about assist to TO ratio of a SG who played like a SG kind of shows either you have a shallow understanding of the game....or more likely, that you are back trying to cherry pick to support a false narrative.

Sure, I think anyone would do that deal....anyone other than Boston.

Bill Simmons puts down Jalen Green but deep down wants Jalen Green.

He knows Green is going to be all world.

We will give you Sengun though.....supposedly our best trade value

If Jalen Green had more turnovers than assists that would be a talking point you would spam all day long.

Being any position on the floor doesn't merit more turnovers than assists. You don't even know what dho stands for. You are a far idle aged dude who's never played a organized sport at any level in your entire life. There is no analysis you've provided here that isn't beyond superficial box score watching.

Brown in his second year was also a off ball role player with his scoring profile being 14 ppg on 36% of his fgs being self created unlike Green who is at 60%. With a much easier shot diet with less defensive attention because guys like Kyrie were on the team he still only has a two percent advantage in true shooting.

He also played as a primary ball handler, not as a typical SG....so you judge them differently.

Also, that would be REALLY far down the list of reasons to criticize Jalen Green's performance.

Him being a low efficiency chucker who is one of the worst defensive players in the entire league would get more attention than if he was averaging 1.8 turnovers to 1.6 assists.

Of course you know that, but you don't operate in good faith.

The idea is for Jalen Green to play alongside of Jaylen Brown.

Honestly, there's a ton of scenarios where you'd offer them both if that's what it took.

Let's say the Rockets land Wemby with the top pick and Harden wants to sign.

    You roll with

    Wemby
    Smith
    Brown
    KPJ
    Harden

That team might do some things.

The difference between a 54% ts player and 56% ts player isn't the difference between a chucker and a future superstar especially when the 54% ts player is the center of defensive attention and scoring mostly off the dribble and 56% ts player is scoring mostly off ball behind the gravity of guys like Kyrie Irving.

Oh 7 years into Brown's development he's averaging 3.5 assists to 3 turnovers and yes now he's playing more of Green's role as second lead ball handler scoring mostly off the dribble. He has significantly worse tunnel vision than Green. At 26 if Green is averaging 3.5 assists on 3 turnovers he failed as a NBA player.

    Two questions:

    1. If we get pick #4-6, do we make this trade using that asset as well as Tari and/or Jabari? Assume Tate/KJ thrown in for filler. Sengun is an option but would Boston want him on their team? Or maybe he'd be sent to a third team...

    2. If we get Wemby, do you still do this trade? Or do you just sign Harden/FVV and let the young guys develop? Or do you just keep Wemby and trade some combo of Sengun/Jabari/Eason to still get Brown?

We have a great core of young players and soon to hire Ime Udoka. We also have the best strip clubs, what's there not too like?

That some of our young players aren't legally allowed to enter those strip clubs yet ;)
