    Well, he did help us tank our way to Green, Smith, and hopefully another Top 3 pick. So I wouldn't say he did nothing to help.

    Well deserved firing. He seemed like a great guy, but was clearly in over his head. As others have said, poorly developed young players, didn't hold anyone accountable and the team did not show improved game plan discipline over the years during his tenure. I understand there was a ceiling on this team in terms of W/L, but there are other ways to show competency at your job in a rebuilding situation and Silas completely failed at that.

    Hoping for any of Nurse, Udoka or Atkinson.

    Hopefully the same type of dynasty that the Astros are enjoying comes out of this rebuild for the Rockets.

    I think it's for the better. For both sides, clearly Silas didn't have the locker room. Can tell the Vet (EG) didn't care to help the young guys.

    good riddance... maybe next time he will see the bigger picture and not get too wrapped in 'pet projects' like the 'redemption of kpj'... smh...
    also he needs to get a backbone and learn how to hold guys accountable... the 'buddy' thing can only carry u so far...
