Yep. Also, the Rockets shouldn't trade the pick. Highly doubtful any top 5-10 players will be available and trading it away for anything less than that would be stupid. Gotta stay patient and trust the process; plenty of good prospects available outside the top 3. Portland is out of it and tanking. Dallas might be pulling the trigger and sitting their stars as well, depending on how the next couple days play out & whether they think scraping and battling to be #10 is worth more than the chance to pick in the lottery. The only team the Spurs play that's actually right in the thick of things is Minny.
Spurs won by the way. We each have two games left and the Spurs are 1 game up on us. If we go 2-0 and they go 0-2 we will pass them in the standings and end up with the 3rd best lottery odds. If we go 2-0 and they go 1-1, or we go 1-1 and they go 0-2, it will be a tie, not sure on the tiebreaker here, maybe somebody else can fill me in. Any other outcome and we stay where we are now, having the second-best lottery odds. I do not think it is possible for Detroit to catch us now, by the way, so no chance at having the top lottery odds anymore.
