4.0 AT Clemson, it's not exactly Rice/Stanford etc... He still hasn't mastered the English language. Read through his depositions and his statements. That's certainly not 4.0 material.
If any of this year's QB could be a franchise QB in the right system, then maybe QBs are over rated and building up the rest of the team is a good thing. It's like the Angels in baseball. They have two of the best players in baseball and can't even break 500. It's a team sport.
How so? Watson lead this team to one playoff win. He didn’t take the team further than they’ve ever been, and didn’t lead the franchise to most wins in a season.
Hey look, I talk more than anyone I know. My last name starts with an M, and a teacher in 4th grade dubbed me Motormouth [Last Name] and it stuck…deservingly so. But why the **** are we still talking about Deshaun Watson? That’s ancient history right now, aside from the draft picks we have while he’s in Cleveland. This thread is about a guy named Bryce Young, who might be our new QB…or he might not be.
Chalk and cheese. Football and Baseball are both team sports yes, but the quarterback is the key - and most important position in just about all of team sports.
It appears the consensus is Stroud and Young are 1 & 2 on the Texans board. They will take whoever is left after the Panthers choose. The only question is who to take if the Panthers do something unexpected and not take one or the other. I just want to know who we have at 3 and how close they are to our 2. Is it close enough to trade down with ARI?
not with Reich there; he loves the big QBs and no way they mortgaged their future for a big "risk"." I think they will play it safe and draft Stroud
There is no reason for Arizona to trade up. It is more likely they trade down to another QB hungry team.
