We used to take weekend day trips to Portland but that stopped when I had to deal with a meth head having a freak out right next to us. This was like 5 years ago, I couldn't imagine what it's like now.

 

At least in the Seattle, we have a city council that won't vote to enforce drug possession laws that the Washington state legislature already passed. I believe there is a vote again today to start enforcing these laws.

 

We talked so much about San Francisco or Oakland being 2023 city of the year but honestly you could say Portland is in contention with them…the exodus of people but especially businesses is unreal in Portland … Again it’s the local woke liberal politicians being anti business and pro criminal rights. The people voted for it and deserve it to be quite blunt honest

 

Work friend of mine lives in Portland. He’s super liberal. We had a long discussion on how all of the police and law reforms are hurting the city. He’s older now and sees it for what it is. He said the sidewalks are full of tents, a good chunk of them ‘rooms’ for homeless people. He said he talked to one guy who said one of the tent-rooms was his meth lab. He can work from home but got an office space just to help out a building owner he knows who can’t keep business tenants.

He also told me he pays the second highest taxes in the country after NYC.

 

Cmon guys , Portland just needs the rest of the states to get with the program and legalize meth . Then it’s not “drug workers” it’s “producers”
