The Clippers are ALREADY under the cap. And Kittles contract expires next year which would give them even more cap savings. It would be just like the Clippers to throw away Wilcox just to save a few pennies. It would be a great trade for NJ and a ridiculous one for the Clippers, especially if they resign Q at shooting guard.
We already did it to Orlando this year, so to make it better in the moral department, let's wait till next year to do it to the Clippers, Warriors and Magics of the world. Here are some teams that you NEVER want to trade with, because you know you'll get killed on the deal: 1. Grizzlies - Jerry West is simply intimidating (victims: Magic - Miller, Blazers - Wells...) 2. Pistons - The samething with Dumar (victims: Grizzlies - Darko, Hawks - Wallace...) 3. Jazz - see the Boozer thing? (victims: Rockets - future 1st round pick, Cavs - Boozer(it's essentially a Pavlovic for Boozer deal), Suns - Snyder) 4. Mavs - Cuban is greedy as hell (victims: Warriors - Jamison, Nuggets - NVE/LaFrentz, Celtics - Walker) Well, some of them are not total fleecing, but these teams all ended up with better shapes than their victims.
If the Clips make that move, it'll defy all reason and sanity. Even taking into account that it's Baylor. Evan
what a wasted draft that was, drafting Ely and Wilcox when they already had Brand. They just traded Ely and now they're gonna trade Wilcox? They just wasted 2 years of both of those guys careers. I'd be pissed off.
