The team that drafts him can't ever say they weren't warned.

    Simpson?

Sure, he was found guilty in a civil case.

Had better lawyers in his criminal case. His lawyers asked him to stop
taking his meds. Allowed his hands to swell and not fit the bloody gloves.

Opposition asked Simpson to try on the gloves. Never ask a question you don't
already know the answer ( Lawyer 101 ]

I’m down to draft him if he can shoot Silas on draft night.

There is an article that says Brandon Miller did the pat down introduction multiple times throughout the year. It just wasn't a one time deal this past week. Not a great look overall, but it does make me feel a little better that it's been in their intro routine before the incident.

I'm not saying the guy is guilty of a crime, but he is definitely too stupid of a person to invest tens of millions of dollars into. Between delivering the gun and then not realizing how dumb continuing to do the pat down thing is, the dude is obviously an immature idiot.

Give me Jarace Walker man. That's the kind of young guy I want on the Rockets. Plus, I think Walker is the better player anyway.

This is exactly what I was saying. People were trying to excuse it because he's been doing it. Well doesn't make it any less tone deaf.

I wonder if he's the only 20 year old among that list? I wonder how the list looks when we look at people who are 20 or younger, and not just freshman.

20 year olds being tone deaf is maybe the 2nd least shocking thing I've experienced today only behind when I took a shower and got wet.

Am I the only person that feels this is a little different due to the fact it was a teammate of his? This is a guy he is associated with through the university. I am not at all excusing his foolishness or making light of the situation but, as I understand it, his teammate said that trouble was brewing and he asked for Miller to return his gun to him. I am certainly not pinning a medal on his chest or nominating him for any awards but I am not sure that such conduct merits some of the criticism that he has received.

I dunno, I have to believe he has "handlers". He's not making his career decisions alone.
There's some adults around him, be that friends, family or agent types and they failed him in the aftermath of the shooting.

If Wemby and Scoot are gone when the Rockets pick, then I'm picking this guy.

Kids make bad judgement calls, especially at 20.

I'm thinking he will grow up.
