I've been a lurker on this site for many years and I've never seen the number of negative posts as in the present moment. Criticism of the organization is valid and welcome and so is a difference in opinion, but tearing down 20-year-olds and degrading other fans in the process is NOT the way to go. The rebuilding process is hard but when in doubt, zoom out! We OWN the Brooklyn Nets, our young core are looking like incredible picks, and we actually begin competing NEXT SEASON. This thread is for all of the positive news, highlights, and commentary for posters who LOVE the historically great organization that is the Houston Rockets. (and yes, it did deserve its own thread )

This is an exciting time. Thankfully, we're almost at the end of this period of total, shameless suckage. The team has one more draft to add some more top young talent, and then they can finally start improving the roster with all this cap space and doing things that actually make sense in terms of winning. Yes, they could screw that up. But at least the period of not even trying is almost over.
The rockets are exactly where we should all have been hoped they’d be. We almost through the hardest part. Next year we fly again… and by fly, I mean bounce off rock bottom
If we don't improve next year I do believe changes will be made All of our players have time on their side We have a few extra first rounders over rybe next few years
Six Rockets-related positives: 1) I don't worry about missing games anymore 2) Losses make me laugh moreso than they make me stressed 3) I don't have to worry about sacrificing time with my young children to watch Rockets playoff games 4) If I wanted to go to a game, tickets would be cheap or free 5) With NBA League Pass, I can choose the opponent's broadcast so I don't have to listen to Ryan Hollins 6) We will definitely draft Wemby in a few months
