I don’t like the “we ran out of time excuse”. Stone admitted the trade was in the works days before the deadline. May be nitpicking but I’m convinced he was worth a 2nd rounder. Bruno fetched a freaking 2nd rounder
That is a big misconception, Mr. Corrosion. He could be business smart, heck even street smart but a buffoon if it comes to basketball and building a championship team. Because he has to strictly listen to guys like Jerry West, RC Buford, Bob Myers people that have won something. Is he able to do that, even the tiniest details as the devil is in the details. I don't think he is cheap per se but he has a habit of choosing to be cheap now and then when he feels like it and his track record isn't really great. Is he really terrible? Maybe we have drawn the devil on the wall prematurely, myself included.... All I know is he doesn't have a vision that I agree with.... at the very least on the process getting there. Nepotism, Westbrook deal etc....
There was no way in hell that Green was going to be associated with this **** show. I laughed when Stone talked about him staying. It was never realistic.
To be fair: I don't think Danny Green was the "answer" as a vet here anyway. We probably need to have 3-4 guys with 5+ years experience to be in the rotation if we want to start winning some games.
What are we going to do with John Wall? I’m assuming buy outs as well? TBH, I would mess around with him for a little bit because of all those crap he said about the Rockets during a recent podcast… I’m not saying what he said weren’t true, and that’s not the point.. you just don’t air out dirty laundry tj the world.. it’s just like when you go into a job interview, when your potential new employer ask why did you leave your previous job, you never badmouth your ex-employer even they were 100% at fault!
