For the record, this rebuilding effort began on draft night following the Harden trade. The trade just happened 2 years ago. We have drafted 7 freaking kids in the last two drafts, not 3 drafts. To what are you comparing this team? 7 FRP's in 2 drafts? All under 21 with on EG and Tate as true vets that also play. OKC is close, but in the last two years, their draft pick that has played the most games is Sengun. Now in the next few years, OKC and UTAH will have a crazy number of picks. They can then look back at us for a comparison, but we do not have that comparison to make. You don't have to agree with tanking, but it is the path that the Rockets chose and initiated on June 23, 2022 while drafting Green 19/4/3, Christopher 7/2/1, Garuba 3/4/1, and Sengun 12/7/3. Adding Smith, TyTy, and Tari this year was the next step. Not extending KPJ with anything guaranteed protects us and gives us flexibility. The 2023 draft will net 2 more FRP's which may include Wemby. Stone has reset the future of this team, yet we complaign incessantly. We are two wins away from losing our 14% chance at Wemby. Not smart to stop the process 30 games away from a potential generational talent.
Giving up a 140 points like it's nothing after Saturday's game is crazy. This is really the worst team I've ever seen as a Houston Rockets squad.
