There are sooo many positives for DeMeco to come here. There's a fan base here that knows and loves him and would be behind him 100%! He would be coming to a team that's been bottom of the league bad so there wouldn't be unrealistic expectations at the start. He'd have an owner that there'd be "NO WAY IN H#$%" he'd think he was smarter than him. The owner's always paid well. There's almost no way he doesn't get at least 3 years of job security with the team. He'd have a gm that has stated and shown by his actions that he's willing to defer on personnel decisions. Has friends like AJ in the front office. Has a roster with some good pieces and flush with draft capital. There's several ALA. players on the roster and even a top QB from there in this draft. And what I think is a really HUGE factor, this team doesn't have the Russell Wilson qb/trade anchor weighing it down!

Pretty sure we'll know who's going where next week. Especially once we see which team interviews Ryans first. That will be very telling. If the Texans interview him on Monday or Tuesday, and he doesn't schedule with the Broncos that's a sign. Or the other way around. Also, depending on which team wins, and who hires a coach based off of that will be the ultimate tell.
Can the Texans hire Demeco next week if he makes the SB? Or would that have to wait until after SB Sunday?
Why would Caserio want to leak that Ryans is almost a done deal? That just gives Broncos more reason to come in and make a better offer.
nah i think this is a done deal. Ryans probably picked the texans based on draft capital/ picking his own qb etc. yes broncos can offer money, but i think the texans is a better situation
