I've got him much higher than that. If he's there at 2-33 (Doubtful) Caserio should run the card with his name on it to the stage.
I agree 100%. My only problem is, I don’t see him as a No.1 option. He’s more of a 1b. Not good enough to be the first option but better than a second option. I hope that makes sense. They could be seeing the same and that’s why he’s projected to go in the second. Still a ton of film to watch though. I want to go back to last years tape too.
Is the primary main concern here durability? If you watch his highlights, he very rarely takes big hits. He has good field awareness so he knows when to slide and rarely gets blindsided, and he's very shifty so the majority of the time is getting arm-tackled from weird angles for defenders. If concern about his size is all about durability (vs how size will affect how he can run an NFL offense), I think that's something that's not talked about enough you have to take into account. Idk if this is fair to Tua, but as a counter-example, it seems like he's sort of the opposite where he lands really violently when tackled.
Yeah, I think he's the WR that could see the most movement in rankings based on the pre-draft process being such an under-the-radar prospect from the AAC. Dude wasn't even on the NFL mock draft radar until mid-October. But he seems to have all of the tools to be an alpha WR in the NFL.
Yet Steph has led them to three championships. Young has started two years in the best conference in America and survived with one injury that had him miss one game.
So I'd say young is 5'10.5" to 5"'11" like we all thought. Both of those pictures are from a confusing perspective. Young is slightly taller than both of those guys. Especially if you factor in King's hair.
As an Alabama alum, I hope Bryce doesn’t come to Houston. If he does, his career will never reach it’s potential.
Marvin Harrison Jr tweet with a winking and smiling emoji. Given speculation about CJ Stroud staying... not great
Interesting quick scouting on Bryce Young and CJ Stroud by (cough) Josh McCown. But, pretty good insight on the plays shown. He was glowing about both. Talks a lot about Bryce's playmaking ability and compares Stroud to Burrow in size and ability to just pick apart a defense.
So let’s say stroud returns to school so what??…the bears pick goes up for #1 And we potentially lose Bryce so what…then we draft Carter or Anderson… A lot of posters wanted to wait till next year for a QB anyway so all should be happy… I’ve been on the Bryce bandwagon since the beginning but I’m not worried about missing out on him at all…especially with the opportunity to draft Carter or Anderson.
We've been the worst team in the league for what, four straight seasons? We really cool running it back for another pointless season with Mills at the helm? Assuming we have a new real head coach, the team should perform better and a new HC especially one like Payton isn't going to want to tank in their first year. We couldn't even lock up the #1 pick this year, what makes you think we'll be able to do it next year? And if you miss on C-Will/Drake Maye... well there's always Arch Manning in 2026!
