That game-winning Akins TD catch gave me a $6 win on a $1 Draftkings entry……..glass half full?….. of piss?…..
Since Lovie is so predictable, when he says "Well, you play to win the game." at the press conference, I hope someone runs back the clip of him saying a tie is better than a loss in week 1. Call him out and then tell him to pack his bags and end the press conference.
I've been saying all year I want Jordan Love, I'm not sold on any qbs in this draft. I would not be mad if Nick signed Carr or traded the second round pick for Trey Lance either
I just think they need ALL the help they can get. They need to control their own destiny now more than ever… for a number of reasons. And they failed spectacularly in that today. They had full ability to not play their “best” and it would have ensured the outcome that is best for this team’s future. And they couldn’t’ get that right. Its not just about Young or whoever comes out of nowhere at the combine to raise their stock… its about having full control over your draft… along with full control of the #1 pick of every round. This franchise has used excuses of “oh, we were one pick away and somebody traded up” or “we thought he’d fall to us” so so often that I’ve lost track of it. Sure, having the #1 pick in any draft can bust at any point… but if any team needed the most help, it was this one.
Might as well fire everyone in the organization including GM. If only Cal would sell this team it would be a perfect reset for this awful organization.
That would be the smart move but "smart" and "Chicago Bears" are two things you never ever hear spoken together.
LOL, but it would be our luck, because good luck and Texans are two things you never ever hear spoken together either.
I’m good with Young or Stroud. I cant see anyone but the Colts trading up for 1, which is why this win was so stupid. That said, the Bears could just take Anderson and all concerns will be moot….but, the drama is gonna remain for the next 4 months regardless. That was such a Texan thing to do winning that game. Cal walking around looking lost in the post game.
